HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language.

  • HTML is easy to learn - You will enjoy it.

  • HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags, enclosed in angle brackets

  • The purpose of a web browser is to read HTML documents and compose them web pages.

  • The browser does not display the HTML tags, but uses the tags to interpret the content of the page.

  • we can create html document in notepad or other editors like notepad++,adobe dream viewer,etc.

  • To save HTML document we use the extension .html for example wurdu.html

  • An HTML has a lot of tags, more than 100.
